Lovell is the Senior Partner heading the Family and Litigation departments. Following a career as a police officer Lovell went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1993 and has built a reputation for which he is well known and respected. Lovell is passionate about improving people's lives and helping those who most need it, which is obvious in his commitment to his clients and staff.

Lovell is an accredited member of the Law Society's Family Law and Family Law advanced panels as well as an accredited specialist member of Resolution. Lovell's specialist areas of Law include complex and international family and matrimonial matters including international child abduction, forced marriages, high net worth financial settlements, litigation issues, ancillary relief matters, wills, inheritance claims, trust of land cases, serious crime, planning and employment amongst other general areas of law.

Supported by a progressive attitude to succeed, Lovell's 18 years of post qualification practice gives him the requisite specialist experience. Lovell is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children and the Employment Lawyers Association.
