With 30 years’ litigation experience Chris reunited with Lovell Chohan as a solicitors clerk, with whom he had previously worked some 20 years earlier.
Chris’s specialist areas of law are primarily in the civil and family spheres and include nullity; divorce, including ancillary relief; Children Act matters such as parental responsibility, residence, contact, prohibited steps and specific issue orders as well as Trusts of Land cases, separation agreements, and Inheritance Act cases.
Chris has also handled negligence cases including personal injury, contract cases including statutory demands and bankruptcy, property disputes including disputes before the Adjudicator to HM Land Registry, and Landlord & Tenant cases including possession proceedings and business lease renewals. Chris also has also dealt with non-contentious probate matters including dealing with tax returns.
With his extensive experience and professional approach in negotiating financial settlements in civil and family cases, Chris takes pride in being sympathetic, supportive and a good communicator with clients who are often experiencing stressful situations.
Chris is also responsible for dealing with and running the Firms outreach services for advice sessions and pro-bono work at various charitable organizations, drop in centers and victim support groups.
